arm/wing comparison and evolution

This is really cool, you guys; it shows the three different evolutions of wings in tetrapods, and all the analogous/homologous structures. Avian, mammalian, and pterodon-ian (I don’t know if that’s right) flight all evolved convergently; they all found the same solution to the problem of speedy escape/speedy aerial hunting, but they found it independently. Much like Leibniz and Newton figuring out calculus.

Now that Koorii got them, I can post these! I made them for her birthday and she got them only about two months late hahahahaaa… OTL They were based off of this drawing.

I really like how they came out, especially TGH’s face paint, that was so much fun to do. I think the hardest thing about them was The Signless’s cloak. I do not sew clothes and figuring out how to get that to fit was… a challenge lol.

So, happy birthday Koorii!
